Born on New Years Day, 1971, in a small mining town in southern Arizona. Moved to California in 1999.Earned Bachelor's in Education at Northern Arizona University and Masters Degree in Education at National University in San Jose, CA.
Taught in public elementary schools for 25 years

Married for 22 years and has two children.
Has an old tortoise named Clyde and three cats named Delilah, Scooter, and Walley.
